Proto Infans Internet Rights Foundation
we’re more than just a mouthful of a name
PIIR Foundation
is a passionate non-profit, officially registered under the Companies Act, 2013 (Licence Number 159381, if you’re into that sort of detail) and aim to be the vigilant guardians of children’s rights in the vast, sometimes wild, frontier of the Internet.
We’re here to ensure that the digital playground is as safe as the one outside your door—no bullies, no predators, just pure, unfiltered fun and learning. Whether it’s championing the creation of child-centric laws, conducting in-depth research, or rolling up our sleeves for some good old-fashioned legal advocacy, we’re on it.
We strive to create a safe, equitable, and empowering online environment by pushing for the development and implementation of robust laws and policies that recognize, not restrict children’s rights on the Internet. Our focus spans several critical areasis:
- combat online child sexual exploitation and abuse (CSEA) & child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
- fight for the rights of Children on the Internet as per UNCRC charter
- assist law enforcement agencies in navigating the digital maze
- advocate for mindful parenting in a world where screens are everywhere.
- policy, research and legal advocacy for children’s rights on the Internet
